Sorry, I didn't realize I was being vague. I was frustrated because I couldn't find a solution anywhere online and I assumed I was just blind and someone might already know the answer.
I use full screen mode when I am using Pages 09'.
Full screen mode is found at the top right hand corner of the window of a blank document. When I first used full screen mode there was a default wood panel background behind the document. I switched it to a solid colour and haven't been able to find that default wood patterned background.
Any help would be appreciated!
Full Screen is on the top right of any document in OSX 10.7.
I have no idea how you could have got a wood panel background behind a full screen document, nor how you would have changed the background, which is always dark grey to my knowledge.
If you want to learn more about Pages there are introductory Apple Videos under the Help menu.
The downloadable Pages09_UserGuide.pdf is in the same place.
And try this site:
But start by having a good look through the menus and the Inspectors which are well organised compared with most software.
I apologize but happily, the background used by the Full Screen mode under 10.7.x defaults to a solid black.
On my side, I don't use the system's Full Screen but the 3rd party Isolator. This one allow us to customiize the background color but don't let us use a wooden texture.
Maybe there is a third party app allowing some customisation but I'm unaware of such gadget.
