i remember when i first set up my mac, it had me set up my ichat account. but i can't find ichat. does the beta version of messages that i downloaded have to do with this? what about facetime? ( i don't think it would be facetime because it was already installed when i first ran up my computer when it guided me through setting up an ichat account.) help?

Messages over writes iChat, so iChat wont be in your apps folder.
so if i delete the messages app, ichat will show up? because i've seen other people running lion that have ichat...
With messages in the menu click on it and then click on uninstall messages that then will put iChat back as long as your attached to the internet.
i can't find iChat in my applications.
