iTunes and phone log

dear Sirs,

seems strange to me that I have to use an external software (DiskAid in that moment) to access phone log: the problem it isn't the money, but the principle.

iTunes make the back-up of the log; why I can't see it using iTune interface?

I hope from the next iTune update, each iphone owner will be free to manage the call log and all the data already care for by iTunes backup.
