BROOKLYNTREEZ Level 1 Level 1 (120 points)

I have 2x 27" Cinema displays and the 5770 card. I also run FinalCutProX and Cinema 4d, so card is put to work. Will adding another 5770 increase my performance of the monitors and GPU related task? I know it had no effect before, but now with OpenCL and grand central dispatch?

Thx in advance.

Sorry my specs have changed as well, I am running Lion.

No. Some programs could use an Nvidia GPU (Quadro 4000, or GTX 570 though 570 is not supported fully) for some rendering tasks.

And upgradiing to two or getting 5870 - or something down the road -

Will it increase the response time of my montiors? I see it struggling at the moment. Some funky redraws happen esspecially in Illustrator.

I thought finalcutprox boasted that it dumped some tasks onto the gpu? Surely more gpu would help?
