Apple Batteries No Consistent Charging Results

I have been using the Apple Batteries for a few months now with my iMac's wireless mouse.

I notice at random times after plugging them into the outlet to be recharged, the light will start off as a steady orange light then some time later it turns into a blinking orange light. Then at other charging times it will go from a steady orange then eventually turn itself off.

Sometimes I do not get a full change, even if the charging process goes fine. I have seen 7% after recharging and 95%.

Does it sound like I need to have them replaced? I have an eneloop charger. Can I use that to compare the charging process?

Also, someone suggested on another thread that theses could be re-branded eneloop batteries. Is that a possibility?

Hello:

I have been using rechargeables for several years, but have not experienced what you describe. I use (at the moment) Energizer 2400 mAh batteries and an Energizer 15 minute charger.

Flashing Amber: This may indicate any of the following conditions:

The batteries have not been properly installed.
An unsupported type of battery is in the charger.
The batteries may be faulty or damaged and should be replaced.

It sounds like maybe the batteries might be faulty.

Is it also possible that if the outlet experienced an irregular power flow or interruption, that it might cause the charger to show a flashing amber light?

this charger is really sensitive! it can be iritating! having to remove and install the batterys multiple times, rotating the battery, ect trying to get a good contact.

I'm having the exact same problem with brand new charger and batteries.. Bought them a week ago, unwrapped them yesterday and tried charging multiple times without succes..

Can I demand a new one?
