I have an Airport Express N and and Express G unit. I want the G unit to extend the range of the N unit. So I can send iTunes from my iPhone to the N unit connected to my stereo and the G unit picks up the signal and sends it out to the G's connected speakers. This is possible.......right.
Yes, you can extend an "n" Express with a "g" Express. Please check out the following Apple Support article on the details of configuring your Express base stations into a WDS.
thanks but I dont want to hook either one up to the internet, is that possible. I just want a way to send songs from iPhone to both wifi boxes.
You don't need either Express base station connected to the Internet in order to: 1) Extend their wireless range, and 2) Stream iTunes using AirPlay.
