mac os 10.5.8 java update
I have updated my pre-Intel Mac as far as I could go, using OS 10.5.8. Is there a security patch for this OS? I have 2 Macs of the same vintage using this OS.

No. Since you are running a PowerPC machine, you are pretty much immune to any of this.
