How can I convert a Pages document to a jpeg file?
I need to convert a design I created in Pages into either a jpeg file or creat an "object" out of the design. I can't figure out how to do either one. Thanks for any help you can offer!

Export your Pages file as a PDF, open the PDF in Preview, export as JPEG.
Clunky, but it works.

If it is a smallish design you could use the command shift 4 keys and draw around it with your curser.
Open the resulting picture in preview (just double click) and save as jpg.

Bad idea. Screensnaps are taken at 72dpi.

THis worked great! Thanks!
You can actually do this without converting it to a PDF.
* In Pages, click File and then Print.
* On the lower left of the print box, click on the PDF drop down menu.
* From there, click on "Open PDF in Preview."
* Click on File and then Export.
* You will see a "Format" box with a drop down menu. Select "JPEG" from there.
Susan,
Peter nailed an efficient solution in his response prior to yours.
As I was trying to figure this out this morning, I saw his reply but had no idea what to do. Don't know what a "design switch" is and couldn't find Preview. app. Was totally confused. So, I posted this in case anyone else out there was jus as confused! Glad there are easy solutions!
Hi Susan,
1. I think that there was a missing comma in Peter's reply:
Copy your design switch to Preview .app go command n and your design becomes a pdf.
Copy your design[,] [and then] switch to Preview .app go command n and your design becomes a pdf.
2. In your reply: couldn't find Preview. app.
On my Mac, Preview is listed in Launchpad, and also in Finder > Applications folder.
Thank you posting a reply.
Regards,
Ian.
Thanks SusansF9. Your instructions were very helpful.
Thanks babe, easy instructions tho 😍.
This is a very quick, easy solution. With minimum clicks or conversions.
It used to be easier
You just would command P and select send to iPhoto.
Any clues why this was changed?
I somtimes think the folks at Apple just change stuff around to hold onto their jobs.
Menu > File > Print > PDF > Save PDF to folder as JPEG

I am able to convert the pdf file into a jpeg. The only problem I had was the pdf was multiple pages, but only the first page converted to jpeg. How do I get all of the pages in my pdf file to convert to jpeg?
