How can I convert a Pages document to a jpeg file?

I need to convert a design I created in Pages into either a jpeg file or creat an "object" out of the design. I can't figure out how to do either one. Thanks for any help you can offer!

Export your Pages file as a PDF, open the PDF in Preview, export as JPEG.

Clunky, but it works.

You can actually do this without converting it to a PDF.

* In Pages, click File and then Print.

* On the lower left of the print box, click on the PDF drop down menu.

* From there, click on "Open PDF in Preview."

* Click on File and then Export.

* You will see a "Format" box with a drop down menu. Select "JPEG" from there.

Hi Susan,

1. I think that there was a missing comma in Peter's reply:

Copy your design switch to Preview .app go command n and your design becomes a pdf.

Copy your design[,] [and then] switch to Preview .app go command n and your design becomes a pdf.

2. In your reply: couldn't find Preview. app.

On my Mac, Preview is listed in Launchpad, and also in Finder > Applications folder.

Thank you posting a reply.

Ian.
