How can I preserve the format of the email when I reply back?
Everytime I do that, the images disapears, just text and links.
Forwarding preserves format though.

Mail -> Preferences -> Composing -> Check "Use the same message format as the original message"

It's not the format you are concerned about, it's the attachments.
Try Edit > Attachments > Include Original Attachments in Reply.
