Question

MacBook won't turn on!

My MacBook won't turn on. It chimes and gets stuck on the apple and a pinwheel turns indefinitely. I checked the battery (fully powered), adapter (working fine), and did the SMC. PLEASE HELP!

I ended up bringing my mac to the Apple store and it had to be wiped. Luckily, no hardware problems so the service was free, but I lost everything on the laptop.
