updating

i have a powerbook g4 256mb 60gb i currently just pulled this out and started using it. how do i udpate it to a newer operating system. im currently using mac osx 10.3.11.haha do i just get a new disc or do i need more memory? i need help cause i cant even go most sites cause this safari is to old

You should install more RAM before upgrading to 10.4 or 10.5.

Thank you. How much memory will I need? I founder two 512mb ram cards. Is that enough?

1GB is enough for 10.4. You may find that 10.5's performance is better with more than that.
