I want to create an ePub Book with Pages and I have a question concerning images:
When I preview my eBook using iBooks on the iPad, I double tap on the picture and it opens in full screen. But the picture size isn't any bigger. How can I change this?
I have already seen iBooks, where the pictures can open in a larger size, when double tapping on them.
As far as I know, they are built with a more powerful eBook creator application.
The Pages « Export to ePub » tool is just a basic one.

eBooks do not have the multi-media/web style functionality of iBooks.
The difference is eBooks are more static and iBooks are highly interactive.

iBooks and some B&N enhanced ebooks are using a form of ePub that is much more advanced than a basic epUb ebook typically uses.

There are other good articles out there describing the features of enhanced ePub formats including some planned future revisions to bring more features.
