Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I have finish editing my dvd and when i go to burn it, it says there is not enough space on the dvd for the encoding assets. Help? (The dvd is under 2 hours and I have a single layer disc) I tried changing the encoding quality and no matter which one it's on, it won't burn it.

How much free space do you have on your boot drive? For efficient iDVD operation it's recommended that one keep a minimum of 20 GB of free space.

Thanks. That's a good suggestion. Where do I find that out? I went to apple and "About this Mac" and "more info". Where does ot list free space? And how do i delete unneeded files?

Select your hard drive icon on the Desktop and type Command+i. That brings up the info window for it with the info you need:
Thank you! I only had 1.64 GB available. Now I have to work on transferring some files to an external hard drive. I appreciate your advice.
