How do I get videos taken with my iPhone camera app to appear in iPhoto on my iPad? I thought they were supposed to appear automatically?

I took several videos using my iPhone 4s. None of these videos appeared in iPhoto on my iPad. Pictures I've taken using iPhone do appear on the iPad however in iPhoto. I've even tried to beam videos from iPhone to the iPad but that never works. I have location services and beaming turned on in both devices. One last thing also...some photos are just simply missing from both devices.

Devices being used

iPhone 4s iOS 5.01

iPad (3rd gen)

ICloud storage over 20gb

iPad, iOS 5.1, Black, Wifi, 16 GB

If you have a camera connection kit for your iPad, simply connect your iPhone to your iPad and import the videos to the camera roll on your iPad:

The iPad Camera Connection Kit includes two accessories: a Camera Connector and an SD Card Reader. The steps below use the Camera Connector, which features a USB port.

  • Connect the USB Camera Connector to the 30-pin port located on the bottom edge of your iPad.
  • Connect your iPhone or iPod touch to the Camera Connector the USB sync cable that came with your device (called the Dock Connector to USB Cable).
  • The Camera pane opens on your iPad, showing photos and videos that are on your iPhone or iPod touch.
