photostream not showing on computer

I have an i phone and have turned on icloud, have an account on my PC and turned on option for photostream but my photos are not showing up on my computer. How do i get this set up so it automatically puts my pictures from my phone onto my computer?? I looked at the directions which said to go under "control panel", then "network and internet" then it showed on the help screen the icloud picture to click on and set up for it to make a photo folder on my computer but this was not an option on my computer... was i supposed to download icloud on my decktop or how do i get my photos from my phone to my computer? THANKS!!

iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1

You have to download and install the iCloud control panel for Windows, or if you have a mac, upgrade to OS X Lion and set this up in System Preferences. See http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/pc.html.

Thank you!!! it worked! one last question, some of my pictures in my photostream folder are showing upside down on my computer so i turn them right side up but my computer says it won't save them with the changes i made.. i clicked on it to see why but i don't really know. any suggestions? it says they are in the correct jpeg format..

Its to do with the photo`s META data, windows photo viewer doesn`t read the data correctly so it thinks that the photo is write protected, to get round this download a free picture viewer like xnview which will automatically rotate the image to the correct way up, it then can be saved as a new file or overwrite the oringal. Click HERE to goto the xnview homepage.
