Recurring Kernel Panic on Macbook pro - need help if possible(log inside)

Hi all. This issue just started a couple of days ago. I noticed something weird happening when i watching a YouTube video - the video stopped playing but the sound kept on going like nothing was wrong. Anyway i ran the Apple Hardware Test yet it detected no problems. I even went through the extended test just to make sure. I originally got this machine as Snow Leopard but upgrading to Lion. Below the error log of course will show you all the specs about the system. Is there anything here that sticks out about what could be the problem?

Basically what happens is the whole screen freezes and i reboot and i am able to go about its business until the next freeze. The times that I have came back into the room to see it froze up was when the screensaver had turned on or when i was playing any kind of game it seems like it had frozen up(one time playing a game in VMWARE (windows xp). I dont know if this could be a GPU issue or not.

Thanks

Kappy - i havent tried that yet - if the Apple Hardware test passes and just now the First Aid->Verify Disk passes with no errors is that the next step? I assume the hardware test scans the hard drive, ram , GPU etc etc? If it came back with no errors I am not sure what to think about that at the moment.

Kappy. i just got back from doing a Command + S key on reboot and performed the fsck -fy. It performed all of its check and the first time just now it came back with 'The Volume Macintosh HD appears to be OK'.

I will go ahead as you suggested and try resetting the NVRAM stuff.

Why would having VMWARE installed cause this issue? thanks for the info and help..

wait a minute i thought i paid them for an upgrade to what i had to before which was version 2.0. Was there another upgrade after this one(version 3)? If so i need to go to my vmware account and see if i can get the update. I did open up vmware and they told me there was an update to 4.0.0 but when i go to their website it says that everything is down to maintenance.
