First make sure that air can get around and under your Mac..

Then check your Activity Monitor App. in Applications > Utilities

Set to show Active processes. at the top & select the %CPU column to see what is using the most.

If an App is taking too much of the CPU % you can select and quit it.


At the moment the software for my USB T stick is using 100% of the CPU so I'm going to have to go off line and quit it for a while as my Mac's fans are ramping up.
