Question

Canon Selphy ES1

I am trying to print from my iMac to a Canon SELPHY ES 1 using Gutenprint v5.2.3 driver and connected using a USB cable. The printer and Mac recognise each other but it doesn´t work.

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.3)

Try using this driver making sure you use the ES3 version (not Gutenprint version) worked for me running iMac 20 inch 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5

This is a known issue. The latest release of the Gutenprint drivers has dropped support for certain Canon Selphy printers as they require a special communications protocol. See item seven in the latest release notes.
