ipad (3rd gen) stock levels

Hi there

I'm from South Africa (for those who don't know, the ipad 3rd gen hasn't released here yet)
A friend of mine is going to travel in the US (mostly Seattle)
What I would like to know is, if I order and 2 iPads for next day pick up at the apple store there, would there be enough stock in the shop for it to be available the next day or would they have to be shipped there over a couple of days?

Also, is it possible to order it a couple of days in advance (just to make sure the payment goes through)

and now a bit of a rant. Nowhere is it possible to see stock levels of any apple products at their stores. Or a way to email a rep at the store to find out. I think that this feature should be added.
