There is no Java download for 10.5.1

At present, your options with 10.5.1 (and any 10.5 versions) are rather limited, and include disabling access to Java from within Safari and from any other web browsers you are using, or acquiring and updating to 10.6.8, if your hardware supports that.

For folks running 10.6.8, or for folks running 10.7.3 that have the optional Java installation, then the Java security download is provided from Software Update. There is a malware removal tool for 10.7.
