Standalone Flashback Removal Tool vs. Software Update

I downloaded the standalone version of this, but now when I run Software Update, it prompts me to install it again, but says 'None of the selected updates could be installed. An unexpected error has occurred.' Is there something I can do to remove this from Software Update?
