just purchased the apple tv 2nd gen. all i get is the scrolling images. can't access any menu's etc. have restarted the atv device, the att uverse modem/router. held the menu button down for 30 sec and still nothing. have ipads,pod,touches and laptops on same network.
i'm trying to connect via wifi, have the hdmi cable in place, have tv settings correct. battery in the apple remote is correct.
tired of scrolling whale sharks and penquins.
