I had the same problem after reformatting my iMac. I just adjusted the date 2 years back and this tip worked like a charm.

YOU FREAK'N OWN !!!!! THANK YOU !!!! , i just installed a SSD and the application disc was giving me trouble. changed the date/time and now the application disc installed just fine.
