my system preferences keeps quitting unexpectedly and doesn't open how can i fix it?

please help!!

Your System preferences plist file likely has gotten corrupted, it's a easy fix



Finder > Go To Folder and paste this


/Library


and press Go.



Scroll down until you see the



com.apple.systempreferences.plist



there may be two of them, one you can move, so move that one to the Trash or desktop



reboot and open System Preferences and reset your preferences trash the old file.
