change video properties

I have videoclips from a gopro hero cam that I have converted to mov files. I used the gopro videoconverter

When I drag a clip from the event to the project I get a message that the video properties are not recogniced.

The problem is that none of the video properties setttings fit the clips I need, which is 1280x960. How do I get that?

Or is there a recomended way to deal with gopro files to make them work woth FCP X?
