routing stereo output 1-2 issue

Here is my equipment :
- Macbook Pro snow leopard up to date
- Logic Pro9.1.7
- Presonus StudioLive 16.4.2 used as 18o/32i ch firewire audio interface
I have search a large part of internet and found very few subject related to this issue :
I have set up the audio interface driver + mac core audio to route the digital stereo output to channel 17-18 instead of 1-2 in order to keep line 1-2 of my mixer for something more usefull than global playback but single play back.
I have set up Logic Pro for routing stero output to channel 17-18 unmirrored.
It's working because when sending somethings to these channel through logic is received correctly on the mixer BUT when sending anything to output 1 or 2(in mono) is not received on ch 1 or 2 of the mixer, it is routed to "stereo output"... Working fine on channels 3 to 16, the 2 first are simply dead.
This logic pro limitation leads to loose 2 channel of digital mixer if not used as general stereo output thus we have 2 channels already dedicated for this.
Please apple let us the possibility to use outputs 1-2 like outputs 3to16, and route "stereo output" to the proper channel.
