Uninstalling bad plug-ins for Safari

Hey Ho Boys and Girls,



Every 5 mnutes my safari crashed and says its because of a plug in caled gamehouserestaurantrush plug in. I would like to get rid of this. I've been to preferences and gone to extensions but its completely blank.


Any advice?

Hi ...


Could be the flashback trojan.. if it is, it's not difficult to remove.


Install this update > Java for Mac OS X 10.6 Update 8


That should remove variants of the trojan. Restart your Mac after the update is installed, try Safari.


If it still crashes, run this removal tool > Flashback Removal Tool - F-Secure Weblog : News from the Lab


If that didn't help at all, check out these folders > ~/Library/Internet Plug-Ins and /Library/Internet Plug-Ins.


If you see that plugin, move it to the Trash.

I'm quite sure Carolyn is correct and if you haven't gotten rid of it yet by installing all the updates Software Updater offers, let us know and include what OS X your are running along with the complete path to and name of that plugin
