Jun 13, 2012 5:39 AM in response to hwnmedicby lbeck,Okay, I understand that you can't use Facetme on a PC. The question that I have is whether there is any way to have a visual conversation with someone on a PC if you are on an Apple product. I know that there is a Skype app at least for the iPad, but I assume that using the app will require that a mac user install the app also.
What I'm looking for is a way to visually communicate with a Facetime user with a PC. Can it be done? I have both an iPad and a PC. There are times that I want to use my PC to connect to family that has Facetime.

Jun 13, 2012 6:18 AM in response to lbeckby KiltedTim,No. Facetime can not interact with any other video chat service/client and there is no clearinghouse to connect the two. You would have to install something like Skype on all clients that want to connect to each other.
