Apr 15, 2012 5:16 PM in response to ron1098by Demo,Download a compatible iPad app like Documents to Go or Pages (for Word files). Then when you transfer the files to the iPad, you can open and save those files in the appropriate apps.

You also need to transfer the files to the iPad which can be done via email, DropBox or another cloud service, or iOS file sharing that you use with iTunes.
