I need help!!!!!!!!

When my mac is starting up, half way through the startup bar y goes back.

I managed to go into recovery ode, but when checking the first aid in all internal and disk images, the Macintosh HD check shows up a message "First Aid Process on Macintosh HD has failed. "

I already tried Internet recovery, but when selecting the HD to reinstall, it says Permission denied.

It sounds like you may have reset password instead of Restore Permissions?

Did you follow thee instructions?

In Terminal, type: resetpassword Then press Return. (Note: You will not be resetting password)

Choose the icon for your Mac’s hard drive at the top. From the drop down below select your Home folder. At the bottom of the window Restore Home Directory Permissions and ACLs. Then, click the reset button. When the prompt returns to the command line, you can quit out of Terminal.

First select the user you are having the problem with. I cannot read your Terminal window as the type is too small but I do see Key Recovery Assistant there. Are you using FIleVault?

I can understand being tired from troubleshooting, I've been there many times. Sometimes best to walk away for a while and rest. If the answer doesn't present itself after that, it might be best to wipe the disk, reinstall and then restore from backup before the permissions problem occurred.

Ok, i could go to recovery partition -> utility disk -> resetpassword, thanks to you.

My problem now is that i restore permission on my HD and, in all the night, it doesn't terminate to repair. So i reboot my mac. Now my desktop happear to be like restored to default but i can't go to system preference ( when i click on it from dock, it opens and it crashes ). 😟 What can i do? do i have to do all the operation from begin and what for restore? Thanks!!

I'm not sure what happened with the repair permissions, if this is what you ran all night. Or why your desktop isn't what you expect.

I suggest you backup your system by using TIme Machine or one of the cloning softwares Carbon Copy Cloner or SuperDuper to an external drive. Then boot back into the Recovery HD and select the option to Reinstall Mac OS X. The reinstall will first redownload Lion then install it. You won't harm your data or applications as Lion will simply reinstall itself over itself. However, doing the backup prior to this will safeguard your data and apps. You won't need to migrate any data or apps as those are still on your system.

Thanks for your answer.. i try to reinstall lion from recovery hd ( using internet ). My problem still remain. When i open the system preferences it will closed immediately. If i go on terminal "cd /Users/MyUser/Library" it says me : Permission denied. So "chmod 777 Library" and than i can go inside.

"ls" -> Permission denied :/

"sudo -s"

"cd PreferencesPanes" -> empty...

is possible? why it happens this if i reinstall lion??

Have you tried backing up your Lion volume, booting into the Recovery HD, erasing your Macintosh HD (or whatever you called your Lion volume), then reinstall Lion? It seems like something's really messed up and you need to do a clean install, reinstall your apps and restore your data.

Before doing the above, try adding another user with admin rights. Reboot and login as that new user to see if everything works. If so, maybe you could copy or backup your user data, delete your user account from the new account you created then readd your user account and copy your data back. For me, I would just do a clean install.
