I have aquestion : I have two Lion servers, with profile manager loaded, and I am battling with getting the passcode settings to work on an iPad.

I have 2 Lion servers, with profile manager loaded. The settings I want to make are in the passcode section for iPad (ios) of the profile manager. I make several settings, in this section : like minimum passcode length (5), auto lock (5min), grace period for device lock (5min). The only setting that applies is passcode length, no other setting applies : auto lock (5min), grace period for device lock (5min) do not apply.

When I only set autolock 5 Minutes setting, the only setting from the passcode section, that comes to the iPad, is one that says the passcode must be 1 digit or more.

This problem occurs with both Lion servers. Both have latest updates, correct DNS settings, correct host names. The settings are obtained from the profile manager, and manually installed on the iPad. The iPad trusts the settings and the server, since we have a Verisign test certificate.

Other settings in the profile manager section all work fine, like setings from the Wifi section, the Email section the certificates section.
