iPad downloading app unwantedly ?
So I was using my iPad (iPad 2, iOS 5.1), and purchased and downloaded 'Minecraft - Pocket Edition'. The app crashed after a while, but worked perfectly afterwards. When I stopped playing the game, I wanted to 'stop' it using the multitasking tray, but when I double clicked the home button, the SpringBoard crashed/refreshed. This happened every single time I tried it. So, after a reboot: no luck. After a hard reset (sleep/wake button+home button): still no luck. So, I deleted Minecraft, thinking it was the app's fault, and finally: success! The multitasking tray worked fine as always once again.
The problem now is however, whenever I download an app, I get a message: 'Minecraft - Pocket Edition' and 14 other applications can't be downloaded at the moment.' The app I try to download just downloads normally, but the Minecraft icon pops up as well, just saying 'Waiting' and not making any progress, and when I tap it, it disappears. I tried many things, like logging off, reboot, and log in again, or try to download Minecraft again, but nothing seems to work. Even when Minecraft is installed it tries to download it.
Luckily, I've found a temporary solution for now: I went to App Store > Purchases and 'hid' Minecraft, so it doesn't appear in the list of purchases or show the 'install' button next to it on the App Store. But I find it quite absurd that my €5,49 is just thrown away and iOS fails to work properly.. Any idea how to solve this permanently? Any similar experiences?
