Q: Can't join tracks for audiobook from CD?

When I try to download audiobooks from CD the iTunes command "join tracks" is grey. Without this step the result is hundreds of tracks, most of which are unlabelled or only partially identified and can't be rejoined by playlists or smart play lists without the very tedious task of using the "get info" function and labelling them individually. That is hundreds for just a 9-CD book.

Running Win7 - iTunes 11. I actually was trying to follow the steps given in another post and when I have the CD in, the tracks highlighted, and go to options, the join is not there at all. The only two I see are Get track names or submit track names. No help to me at all. I really do not like having to deal with 500 individual files. I have tried importing three times and followed every instruction I could find. Still no win, win. I think I will try to find another peice of software to do this.
