iPhone 4 just rung someone...?

It wasen't my iphone but my step dad's its in a flip case and sitting turned of on a shelf, my brothers blackberry rung and he missed the call and it turned out that my step dad's iphone just rung him some how? on the iphone under Phone App, Recents, it says called Harry at 07:03pm.

Has anyone else had this. Voice control wasn't turned on just in case you ask and everyone in the house was having dinner at the time.

I've had texts suddenly arrive a week later after someone sent it ecause of bad signa at the time would this be similar?
