Stuttering video on import
I posted this question on the iMovie site and haven't received a response. Does anyone have any ideas on this question? Thanks.
I have been using a Canon digital camera to import video to an eMac for the past two years with no problems. I now have an iMac G5. Both computers have exactly the same operating system (10.4.5) and the same version of iMovie (5.0.2). Preferences are set the same, too. When I try to import video into the iMac G5, the picture (not the sound) has drop-outs every 5-10 seconds for a second or two. When I go back to the old eMac, everything works fine. I'm stumped.
