iAntiVirus

iAntiVirus must have been something you downloaded and installed. See here. So it's a 3rd party utility, not Apple.

I just downloaded using that link I provided to check it out. If you don't want that stuff they supply an uninstaller (called appropriately enough "Uninstall iAntiVirus"). Look in your Applications folder for it or possibly in a folder called iAntiVirus.

No, it's not an Apple product. That is just a commercial product available for a free trial on Macs. You don't need it. If you need antivirus software for your computer then use ClamXav 2.2.4. If you are concerned about the most recent malware attack then see this:

Flashback malware removal tool; available only for users of Lion without Java installed.

Install whichever shows up in Software Update. It removes the malware (if present), updates Java (if present) and tightens up Java settings for the future. You may download from Apple's web site instead of using Software Update, but it's important to know which one to get, because the other two won't work for you.

Its a legitimate anti virus(AV) but not authorized by mac

but bottomline is mac computers do not get viruses so its better to uninstall it and stop adding more problems to ur mac

U don't require any of them ...they're gonna aquire more space

instead u can uninstall iantivirus use the finder and click on apps, and then right click to move it to trash that way!

and keep using ur mac without caring about virus
