Photostream

I have had photostream enabled in Aperture ever since the feature became available. As late as yesterday, it was automatically uploaded images from photostream into Aperture. When I opened Aperture today and clicked on Photostream, it asked me if I wanted to enable it. I thought this odd since I already had it enabled. I had no choice but to say yes to this. Upon agreeing to enable it, it froze Aperture into an endless spinning rainbow. I'm assuming this was its attempt to load the 1000 latest pictures? I really don't know. I have already imported all of the images on my Photostream, minus the 8 photos I took that day. Now I have no images in my photostream and Aperture is starting from scratch.

Did anyone else experience this odd behavior?
