Samsung ML-1710 driver for OS X 10.4.5

I have a samsung ML-1710 printer and I was trying to install it, but I can't find the driver. Samsung brand is not included in the printer setup list, nor it was included in the "optional installs" on the installation CD. I searched online, it seems that Samsun no longer support this model so the driver for OS X 10.4.5 may never come out?

Is there anyway to make Samsung ML-1710 to be compatible with OS X 10.4 and above? It seems like it's quite a popular printer (though not the newest model) and I wonder if a lot of people would experience similar problems.

MacBook Pro 1.83GHz Mac OS X (10.4.5) 1 GB RAM, 80G HD

Get Samsung-gdi from here.
http://www.linuxprinting.org/macosx/samsung-gdi/
and the ghostscript 7.07 from here:
http://www.linuxprinting.org/macosx/foomatic/

Use the ML-1210 driver for the 1710.
Since I don't have a MacBook, you'll have to tell us if it works, please.
