How long will the default iPad alarm ring?

I left my iPad in the workplace yesterday and I'm a little worried now. They lock the doors at night, so I'm not too worried about anyone taking it overnight while I'm not there, but there are people who arrive pretty early in the morning before me.

I have about 7 alarms on the iPad I usually use to help me wake up, it's become my main alarm clock. I've never bothered to test how long these alarms go on until you manually turn them off. Is my iPad going to keep on blaring at it's maximum at my desk until someone is drawn to the sound and snatches it? Does it turn off on it's own? I mean if not... this feels like a worst-case scanrio.

I set the earliest alarm to 6:30 am, and the earliest I can be at work is 8:00 am... I'm perticularly worried because my iPad has become my agenda, I keep everything in there, including banking information.

There is no "default" alarm clock on the iPad. You have 7 different alarm clocks that you use on one device????

You bought the apps. Nobody here knows which apps you bought. I would assume that they will not shut off until you shut them off, but that is just a guess. If the alarms have preferences that control how long the alarms will sound - you are the one that should know how they were set.

Okay... so.

I did a little test with my iPod Touch which is stuck on iOS 4.3 or something, and his default alarm auto-offs at 15 minutes.

Can someone please just confirm this is the same for a 1st gen iPad? I'm reasonably confident no one will be there in the 6:30 to 7:00 am time-frame it would then be shouting, and I would rest easier.

Right... sorry, I just got up. Not used to being out of bed this early without my alarms, lol. And yes, I'm very tough to get out of bed in the morning so I stack several alarms one after the other. They're all in the same app though.

LifeLike Clocks, not the usual one with the dial, I got the one with the built-in weather report and changing backgrounds. Ah! Here it is, it's called FlipClock: http://www.lifelikeapps.com/lifelike-flip-clock

My work has Wifi, but I don't connect to it, unfortunately.

My boss keeps track of the network somehow and says that we're not allowed to use any gadgets or smartphones or other unauthorized devices to browse the web. I don't think he's even given us the password...

Anyway, thanks for the quick replies, but the best thing for me to do is just get there ASAP. Wish me luck!
