Ive had a Parrot System in my car for over 12 mths
I have an Iphone 4
All of a sudden The phone will not charge through the connector and wont play music either
Blue tooth is fine on phone and music
Updated parrot with latest software - no change
Reset Iphone - no change
Tried differnt iphone all works find, charges and plays music through cable
SO it looks like my Iphone 4. My phone charges fine with all other chargers
Help me please
iPhone 4, iOS 5.1
Right ive tried 1 other iPhone 3GS that worked ok and I have tried 1 other iPhone 4S and that worked ok
My iPhone is a 4 and this wont charge via my incar parrot
This is something you need to take up with the manufacturer of the Parrot charger. If the phone charges with everything else, obviously the problem isn't in the iPhone.
You missed the fact that I have tried two other iPhones and they work fine
So it has to be my iPhone
I have a tech appoint for tomorrow with Apple after contacting them
Well Tech appointment didnt resolve the issue
The Genius Bar tech told me thats its a common problem that some iPhone wont charge with some devices and its probably due to a few damaged connectors in my charge socket.
I was offered a replacement for £120
Hi. Sync at least one song to your IPhone. Then charging will resume as normal.

Tec at Genius Bar said its probably a faulty pin on the connector. Apparently there are over 30 pins and some work with different connectors/chargers etc. Stated it was a common fauly and that Apples policy id to simply offer a new handset at £119. Cant afford so stuck with this dud

Hi. I am still having issues with charging. Have contacted support from Parrot, but no help so far.
I was sure that if iPhone was loaded with songs, it would start to charge.
Please let me now if you find the sollution. I am sure the charging problem is software related.

Did u ever get this issue resolved? I have same issue - suddenly stopped charging I. Car - other devices are charging from the car and my iPhone 4 will charge with a power cable - very annoying as I really rely on my car kit

I can play songs through my Parrot via blue tooth but charger dosnt work
I have to use a seperate in car charger
