Hi.
I have a 30GB iPod Video which cannot be forced into the disk mode because it is alternating between the "sad face" screen and the "please wait, low battery" screen. Is there any way to fix this?

If none of the suggestions in the Apple support document below help you can be assured that's is an issue with your iPod's hard drive. This means you'll likely need to have the iPod serviced or replaced either by Apple or a third party repair company.
The low battery message could also indicate a dead or dying battery.
