I have had my iPod stolen. I need to see if my contacts were backed up to my iPod. My iTunes does not show an iPod backup at all, but I know I have synced my iPod with my iTunes. Any way I can search computer files to see what was on the iPod?
iPod classic, Windows 7
iTunes does not make backups of your iPod Classic (it only does backups for iOS devices such as iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch). The contacts that were synced to your iPod Classic should still be on your PC since is where they originated from.
If these contacts were only on your iPod and are no longer anywhere on your PC, then I'm afraid you are out of luck.
