Airport Express Mac Address

Hi

I have an Airport Extreme as my network router with 4 Airport Express units. For various reasons, I want to set the Expresses to static IP addresses which i have set through the confirations menus.

At the Extreme, > Network Settings, I can enter the reservations, but it is asking for either the Mac ID or the DHCP ID. I cant find the Mac ID's for the Expresses, I can only see the Apple ID. Can anyone tell me how I can see what these are.

Thanks

A

The MAC ID of the Express is different depending on whether you are using wireless or Ethernet to connect.

If the Express devices are connecting using wireless only, then you would need to use the AirPort ID of the Express as the MAC Address, which is located on the label on the side of the AirPort Express.

If the Express devices are connecting using Ethernet, then you would need to use the Ethernet ID, also located on the same label.
