Browsers:
I have an early 2009, 20" / OS x10.7.3 - I would like to try a browser other than google ( which seems to be everywhere now) as an alternate from Safari, if I want to use one. Just basic,simple and Mac compatible. Any advice?

What's wrong with Safari? Alternatives are many:
Firefox
Chrome
Netscape
OmniWeb
Camino
And, there are others you can find as well. Look at MacUpdate or CNET Downloads
(post deleted -- can't even type one sentence before someone else posts 10).
Go with Google Chrome. It is mac compatiable, is programed to open pages faster via imidiatly adding the html itself rather than waiting for the server to explain, and it is very good looking and easy to navigate in.
In addition you can use the google search feature just by typing in the URL bar.
I use it and recommend it to everyone.
