Water Spots under screen

I believe a little bit of water from a spilled water bottle has gotten under my screen tonight, and made quite the bit of a stain across the upper right hand screen 😟

I read somewhere that if you use an application to heat up the internal fan that it can help dry it out, though I'm not too sure and dont want to damage anything.

This is my First Macbook so I want to keep it nice. Any help would be appreciated as I'm really new at this...
