Windows homeserver remote connection

Hi there,

I recently purchased a mac air and I am having difficulty connecting it remotely to my windows based homeserver. I am trying to connect it from my office to my home server remotely and I keep getting a message saying the sysytem requires windows explorer to acces the home server. Is ther a way to go around it and be able to connect to th ewindows based server at home remotely. a help will be much appreciated.
