Setting iPhone Alarm

I use 24-hour format as my main ****, but when I go to set an alarm, the scroll ticker to set the time is in 12-hour format. So I have to guess which "6", for example, will give me 6a not 6p (1800). Is there a fix to change the ticker to display 24-hour format? Thank you.

If you set Settings>General>Date & Time>24-Hour Time to On, when you set an alarm using the clock app it should display the selector wheel in 24 hour format too (so 6p is displayed as 1800). At least it does on my 4S.

Sorry, I'm not sure what would cause that. The setting wheel does show 24 hour time on mine. I can't think of another setting that would cause this. You could try stopping the Clock app (double-tap the home button, locate the Clock app at the bottom -- swiping if necessary, tap and hold it until it wiggles, tap the minus sign) followed by resetting your phone (hold the on/off and home buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the off slider that appears first, then release). If that fails you could try restoring your phone, which replaces the iOS with a new copy of the latest release (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414).
