Will iPhoto recognize keywords and ratings from Lightroom?
Does anyone know if images that are tagged in Adobe Lightroom with keywords and ratings can be imported into iPhoto with it recognizing those ratings and keywords?
Thanks.

It will if you write thekeywords to the metadata on export from Lightroom.
Ratings: no. There really isn’t a convention for sharing ratings that has taken off - they're too subjective, after all. Workaround: use kewords for ratings: 1star, 2star, etc, and then you can quickly reapply them in iPhoto.

My idea is to use Lightroom to process my RAW images, and to color correct them, etc. and then to add keywords to the images. I would like to then export images from Lightroom as .JPG files that I can import into iPhoto so I can stream to my AppleTV.
Does this sound like it will work? Am I overlooking anything?
Thanks.
Mightn't need iPhoto at all

Hello,
can you please tell me how to do this automaticaly: «It will if you write thekeywords to the metadata on export from Lightroom.»
I want to switch from Lightroom to iPhoto/Aperture. I've switched all my cr2 pictures to .dng with Lightroom and let Lightroom store the Metadata in the file. Then I export my pictures to another folder and set the mark at (I don't know exactly what it is in english): «Stichwörter als Lightroom-Hirarchie schreiben». But no keyword arrived in iPhoto. What have I done wrong?
