@Anybody? I do not have an iPad to experiment here right now ...

All other options I see are risky and may corrupt preferences, so I do not want to recommend them without being able to try them out myself.

Things you may want to check are: Are there corrupted files in the photo cache?

  • Go into the Aperture library (Control-Click on it and "Show Package Contents".) Delete the folder "iPod Photo Cache".) Sync your iPhone (and/or iPad and/or iPod) again.
  • Check the videos in the Aperture Library: Look in the "Masters" folder and the "Previews" folder - these are organized by "date added". You will have to remember the day you imported your videos. Try if you can play the imported video with Quicktime. Import one of the videos to iTunes and see if you can still sync this video to your iPad when you add it to iTunes.

I think I can see the problem already. Just now I saw that videos that I took from my iPhone 4 are bieng syncd to my iPad (3rd generation) which is 1280 x 720 and those that I took from my camera which 1920 x 1080 are not sync. But still now I dont know how to fix it.

I dont understand also as I said, before I can play this videos from my camera before if I will use the iPad camera kit but when using Aperture, it cannot be sync or it will say that it cannot be played on iPad to think that the new iPad is suppose to be, can play 1080p videos already.

Help...

You could try to see if you can export the Aperture movies at all:

In the Aperture Preferences -> "Export" Pane

set the "External Video Editor" to "Quick Time Player".

Then select one of your Videos and ctrl-click. Select "Edit in Quick Time Player" from the pop-up menu. When the video opens in Quick Time go to the "Share" menu and share to iTunes. Select the format iPad/Apple TV.

When the movie appears in iTunes inspect it in the inspector and compare the format to the videos in your Aperture library. Try if iTunes will at least sync the "Shared to iTunes" videos.

When you sync from Aperture, the iTunes is in the loop; so I really would like to see if your videos will get synced, if you copy exactly the videos that are now in Aperture to iTunes, and then sync them from iTunes. Then we will know if Aperture cannot be accesd from iTunes or if reall y the codec of your movies is incompatible.

If you try with just one video if it can be synced from iTunes then we will know for sure if it is the video or your Aperture library.

Once we know for certain that the videos are compatible and cab be synced to the iPad via iTunes, then it might help to repair the permissions in your Aperture Library, or even to repair your Library.

This you can do from the Aperture Library First Aid Panel (Launch it by holding down

Command(⌘)-option (⌥) at the same time while double clicking the Aperture icon.

The select "Repair Permissions" and if it does not help: "Repair Database".

Make sure you have a working backup of your library, before you try any repair.
