Why does my iPhone 4s heat up?

My iPhone 4s heats up while i play gams and things like that

It's probabbly heating up because the CPU/GPU are working much harder than normal.

If there were a problem, you would see a warning like this ->

iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch (4th generation): Keeping device within acceptable operating temperatures
